History

Axcess Capital Group of Companies, the forerunner to Axcess Capital Advisors Inc. and Axcess Capital Managers, was founded by Wm J Buterman and Trevor Stott in 2002 in Calgary, Alberta.

Today, our firm is a privately-owned multi-licensed securities firm that is registered as an Exempt Market Dealer in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario, and as an Investment Fund Manager (IFM) and Restricted Portfolio Manager (RPM) in Alberta.

The firm has maintained a consistent focus on mortgage funds and private securities. We believe that alternative investments in the private capital market can provide advantageous strategies for clients targeting long-term growth and preserving capital.
